iLs Training for Educators
iLs focuses on improving the functional aspects of learning, such as attention, memory, processing and emotional balance. Once these skills are in place, changes occur at a personal and a group level: the individual student becomes a successful learner, and the classroom becomes a better environment for learning to take place.
FOUNDATIONS & IMPLEMENTATION
Activate multiple sensory systems to help your clients achieve their full potential. This course is a great place to start.
We cover centers of the brain, neuroplasticity and the theories on which multi-sensory therapy is based. Then we go hands-on with the iLs Focus 30 and 60, Playbook activities and case studies. After this 8-hour training, you’ll immediately be ready to use iLs with your clients.oundations & Implementation prepares professionals with theoretical and hands-on training in iLs methodology and equipment.
SAFE AND SOUND PROTOCOL TRAINING
How can you open the door for improved communication and more successful therapy with your most sensitive clients? The SSP is a five-day intervention developed by Dr. Stephen Porges.
Learn how the SSP is designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement and resilience. This two-hour course discusses training the auditory pathways to process speech-related frequencies. Once you can help calm your clients’ behavioral and emotional state, communication and subsequent therapies improve.

UTILIZING THE VOICEPRO
Learn ways to improve your clients’ coding, phonemic awareness, listening in a noisy environment and speech clarity. This 90-minute online course is ideal for OTs and SLPs.
It expounds upon the brain information covered in the Foundations & Implementation course and provides an in-depth look at the VoicePro and the iLs Interactive Language Program (ILP).
Get the details you need for using iLs with your clients dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Dive deeper into how iLs addresses ASD symptoms through a staged developmental approach. This two-hour interactive webinar-based training is ideal for professionals working with children diagnosed with ASD.
Get a holistic view of therapy from each system. Each discipline approaches therapy from a different standpoint. The SSI is a five-part course that takes a look at each sensory system singularly and explores how it complements the other sensory systems. We’ll explore the neuroanatomy and physiology, assessment for dysfunction and functional ramifications of each system and discuss the dynamic inter-relationships among all of the sensory systems.
Show your clients how they are progressing. Encouragement and positive reinforcement go a long way. You can use the Measure of Foundational Abilities (MFA) to identify areas that need focus and graph therapeutic progress to track your clients’ success.
Once you’ve been certified and have been using iLs for at least 6 months, we invite you to learn more through the iLs Advanced Courses. These are for practitioners using iLs with complex cases and/or intensives, who need to customize or build custom programs for their clients.
Access the Pro Amplifier with increased bone conduction and R/L lateralization options. In this two-day course, we go deeper into the iLs program structure, how to customize Focus Programs, incorporate voice of the mother with the VoicePro and give you the opportunity to discuss how you use iLs in your practice.
