Training for Psychologists and Mental Health Professionals
Counselors, psychologists, neurofeedback therapists and other clinicians find iLs a natural complement to their practice. iLs programs are conducted simultaneously with the therapist’s specialty. The inherent flexibility of an iLs program allows therapists to customize programs to meet client needs and time constraints.
Many ABA trained therapists implement iLs alongside ABA. The benefits of this combination are evidenced by both immediate (better quality ABA sessions) and long-term results (social/behavior change is accelerated by improved regulation and processing).

State is critical to how we approach the task at hand. So when a client has better state control, not only can they be more socially engaged, they are more open to therapy. Better state regulation improves therapeutic outcomes.

See better results and achieve more client compliance. It is difficult to schedule in-clinic therapy for clients more than one or two times in a week, meaning therapeutic gains can take longer to see.
The iLs Focus systems are flexible so the exercises can be done at home or in clinic. Attend this 20-minute on-demand webinar for certification to set up and oversee your clients’ home use. Achieve more therapy time with your clients and see results sooner. The iLs Home Supervision Program can get you there.

This two-hour interactive webinar-based training is ideal for professionals working with children diagnosed with ASD.
Get a holistic view of therapy from each system. Each discipline approaches therapy from a different standpoint. The SSI is a five-part course that takes a look at each sensory system singularly and explores how it complements the other sensory systems. We’ll explore the neuroanatomy and physiology, assessment for dysfunction and functional ramifications of each system and discuss the dynamic inter-relationships among all of the sensory systems.
Show your clients how they are progressing. Encouragement and positive reinforcement go a long way. You can use the Measure of Foundational Abilities (MFA) to identify areas that need focus and graph therapeutic progress to track your clients’ success.
Once you’ve been certified and have been using iLs for at least 6 months, we invite you to learn more through the iLs Advanced Courses. These are for practitioners using iLs with complex cases and/or intensives, who need to customize or build custom programs for their clients.
