Front line experience: Kate is a highly experienced occupational therapist with 20 years of practice across early intervention, school systems, and outpatient clinics. Her expertise includes sensory integration, feeding therapy, executive functioning support, and emotional regulation.
She holds certifications in youth mental health, the Integrated Listening System (ILS), the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), SOS Feeding, Infant Massage, and trauma-informed care. With a strengths-based and neurodiverse-affirming approach, she incorporates sensory integration principles to create individualized interventions that support each child’s unique needs.
Beyond therapy, she has also leveraged her expertise in content development, writing for an ed-tech app used by thousands of students across the U.S.
Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to building meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, believing that connection is at the heart of effective therapy.
