Kelly Beins is an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience working in a variety of settings and roles with all ages and most specifically with children and families. Kelly has an extensive clinical background combining OT and sensory integration with behavioral health interventions. She received her specialty certification in Sensory Integration in 2005 and became a Unyte practitioner in 2011.
Since that time Kelly has coached many families in use of the Untye Home Program, supervised Unyte associates and used Unyte as an adjunct to her clinic-based services. Kelly has focused much of her practice and continuing education in the field of neuroplasticity and she prides herself and her practice on her ability to think outside the box and to offer practical solutions to support families of children with unique clinical profiles.
Kelly has presented on various topics related to childhood function at local, state and national levels. She approaches her work with an intuitive, empathic, and playful style. Her analytical and goal-oriented nature means she is able to help all clients make measurable progress, yet she is warm and personable with a down-to-earth honesty that is appreciated by many parents.
