Cindy is a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Over the last 40 years, she has served in various settings: pediatric facilities, hospital, school systems across Florida, Georgia and Alabama, early intervention (as a therapist and trainer), in childcare facilities and group homes as well as home health.
She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Occupational Therapy and has participated in multiple certifications and specialties in pediatric treatment modalities. She has participated with Unyte as an Advanced Practitioner, trainer and home coach for over 12 years.
Special trainings include Advanced Practitioner and Trainer with Integrated Listening Systems, Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) Method, DIR/Floortime Infancy and Early Childhood Training, SCERTS (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Supports) Model training, Advanced Intensive Mentorship for Diagnosis and Treatment of Sensory Processing Disorders at the Star Institute and specialized trainings for visual processing skills. Cindy is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test, Interactive Metronome and Handwriting without Tears. She is certified in the use of the Safe and Sound Protocol.
In the private setting where she works remotely, she specializes with sensory integration therapy and vision training with children and adolescents with Autism, sensory processing deficits, learning differences, dyslexia, emotional dysregulation, and anxiety. She currently serves as a home coach for children and adults utilizing the SSP and Focus programs.
