Sheila Frick, OTR/L

Sheila Frick, OTR/L is a pediatric occupational therapist and founder of Vital Links, with over 30 years of clinical experience across psychiatry, rehabilitation, home health, and pediatrics. An internationally recognized lecturer and pioneer in sensory integration, her work focuses on sensory processing, developmental movement, and auditory interventions. Sheila is the creator of Therapeutic Listening®, taught to more than 14,000 therapists worldwide, and has collaborated with leading figures in sensory integration while integrating influences from Body-Mind Centering, developmental yoga, and Bartenieff Fundamentals. She is the author and co-author of several foundational texts, including Listening with the Whole Body, and has contributed to the upcoming third edition of Sensory Integration: Theory and Practice. Her recent work explores the intersection of trauma, sensory processing, and regulation through TRE® and movement-based approaches, and she continues to teach globally while maintaining a private practice in Madison, Wisconsin.

Rebecca Knowles, OTD, OTR, RYT

Rebecca Knowles, OTD, OTR/L, RYT is an occupational therapist and yoga instructor specializing in sensory processing and mental health. She is a clinical leader with diverse experience across the lifespan and continuum of care, including work in hospitals, schools, and community settings.

Rebecca serves as Unyte’s Director of Research, Education, and Quality. Her role is to lead the clinical aspects of the organization, translating science into practice and supporting the evolution of Unyte programs.
