Clinical observations and insights for optimizing the effectiveness of the Safe and Sound Protocol
with Stephen W. Porges, PhD and SSP therapists from around the world
Join us April 26-27, 2019, in beautiful Atlantic Beach, Florida!
Meet, Listen, Share, Discuss, Learn
Dr. Porges is hosting a unique shared learning experience that will foster opportunities to share clinical observations and insights on how to optimize the effectiveness of the SSP. Since the focus of this meeting is mutual learning with lots of interactive dialogue we are calling it a ‘Gathering’ rather than a conference.
It will be personal, communal, supportive and a great way to gain new insights on integrating the SSP into your practice.
Registration: $449 (Mar 1 – Apr 25, 2019)
If you have any trouble with your room reservation, feel free to reach out to Leigh Harris at the hotel by email: email@example.com
Space is limited. Register now for the SSP Gathering!

MEET, LISTEN, SHARE, DISCUSS, LEARN
We have planned the gathering of fellow SSP users so that the learning is deep and rich and the size is small enough that you will have the opportunity to meet with speakers, presenters, panelists, Dr. Porges and iLs staff.
It is a full two days! So full, in fact, that we are scheduled to have mini presentations during lunch. And let’s not forget the bonfire on the beach Saturday night!
We know you may want to extend the trip to make it a vacation or get back home, so we will stop promptly at 5pm on Saturday.
One Ocean Resort is a beautiful boutique hotel right on the beach. We obtained a discount on rooms booked through April 4, 2019, while they last (use this link to receive the discounted rate). Thinking of staying elsewhere? We understand. However, in addition to missing out on this unique boutique hotel, you are going to miss out on the drawings we will be having for those who stay in the hotel! Besides, we hope you will join us there in the evenings.
Registration includes light breakfast and lunch both days.
At Dr. Porges’ request, we’ve structured the event as an interactive forum for therapists to learn from each other through sharing clinical observations and insights into how to optimize the effectiveness of the SSP. We hope this will profoundly influence our understanding of how the SSP works and for whom it might benefit. You will be a part of the evolution of understanding about using the SSP!
Included over the two days are six topic-specific panel discussions with Q & A and a summary interpretation of the discussion/questions by Dr. Porges through the lens of the Polyvagal Theory.
