The client of focus is a 5-year-old male with bilateral cochlear implants who participated in a pilot study of eight subjects at Jean Weingarten Oral School for the Deaf. Goals included improved language skills (articulation and expression of ideas), improved auditory processing (including filtering and discrimination), gross/fine/perceptual motor skill development and greater self-confidence.
