Integrated Listening Summer Programs

Teens with learning difficulties who are about to go through a transition from middle school to high school, or high school to college, can benefit greatly from iLs programs to help them deal with this transition. iLs combines music and movement, so summer activities are the perfect chance to incorporate a program seamlessly into your child’s routine.

Integrated listening programs for kids with learning difficulties

Dr. Ron Minson has witnessed adolescents and teens improve their grades and their confidence after completing our multi-sensory programs.

Learning difficulties are invisible

Teens who are struggling in school or falling behind can benefit from iLs programs. We’ve seen grades improve, and heard statements like “I’m smart now” from clients who have completed our program. Children’s performance in school can have an impact on their self-esteem, but victims of learning difficulties often suffer in silence.

Struggles with attention, reading, math, and language, as well as spelling, can lead to a lack of self-esteem and self-worth. With a big transition coming up, such as changing schools, classes, or routines, a child with learning difficulties will feel a lot more stress and anxiety. Our listening programs can help your child cope with the upcoming change.

Because movement is often necessary for our programs, things like going for a walk, run, walking your dog, or going for a bike ride are natural activities to incorporate into your integrated listening program.

Summer Programs

Our programs are easy to incorporate into your activities as movement is an integral part of our integrated listening programs.

Avoid the “slide back” this summer. Take advantage while there is less pressure, more time, and fewer distractions. The iLs program can elevate your child to their full potential and improve their learning ability. It is a great tool to help your child succeed in high school and college, as well as their life.

For more information on past success stories and who will benefit from our summer program, listen to our podcast where Clinical Director, Dr. Ron Minson, discusses iLs summer programs and how they can help your child, adolescent, or teen.

Selecting the right integrated listening program

Our Provider Locator will help you find a nearby therapist who can help you select the right program for your goals, as well as guide you or your child as they do the one-hour sessions.
