Doreen Hunt, MA, OTR/L

Clinical Advisory Board Alumni (Inaugural Member)

Front line experience:  I have been working with special needs children and their families for more than 30 years as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.  Seeking advanced training in Sensory Integration early on, I have always been interested in foundational brain/body neurological processing to improve function, independence and overall happiness.  My career has involved work with premature infants and parents in the NICU, early intervention; working in schools and clinics with all varieties of diagnoses. Since learning and incorporating Unyte products (such as the Total Focus programs and the SSP) into my practice, in 2011, I became passionate about the power of these neuroplastic tools for changing foundational brain processing.  I began working with Unyte as a trainer and since 2016, have used the Safe and Sound Protocol extensively in my private practice, near Seattle, WA.

Helping You Thrive:  I’ve always gone out of my way to help any and every individual who crosses my path to feel hope and experience change towards improved daily living.  I strive to always be learning, growing, and serving others, changing lives for the better.

Words to Live By:  Count your blessings, not your troubles.  #gratefulness

Personal Interests:  Nature, especially in the mountains: hiking, biking, skiing;  and travel.
