We’ll explore how identifying “The Answer” can help you maximize SSP delivery and why this combination can be particularly supportive for trauma survivors.
Liz is a faculty member with The Personal Transformation Institute, founded by Deb Kennard, the creator of the S.A.F.E Model and an expert SSP provider. She has seen the SSP and S.A.F.E Model work together to create a cycle of true safety and profound healing for her clients and will share case examples exemplifying the integration of “The Answer” within SSP delivery.

Born and raised in China, I moved to the US ~10 years ago. A family member’s struggle with mental illness introduced me to the mental health world. I then took a career switch from business to clinical social work. I took the S.A.F.E EMDR basic training in 2019 and experienced the EMDR magic firsthand. The S.A.F.E Model (Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR) allowed me to continue to deepen my own work and gave me a framework to treat complex trauma more safely and effectively than the standard EMDR protocol would.
Now, I’m an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and a faculty member with The Personal Transformation Institute, founded by Deb Kennard, the creator of the S.A.F.E Model. I became a certified SSP provider in 2022 and has since been blown away by the synergy between SSP and the S.A.F.E. Model. Together, they create a virtuous cycle of true safety and profound healing for my clients.
